You can  get a basic chronograph for just  over  $100,  any  of  thee  major  suppliers,    $200-250+ will  get  you  a  few  bells  and  whistles:)

Chris Cade, Meclesher, Made one like that. It was sinew backed osage. He won BOM with it and said the same thing you are. It shot, Okay, but could be better. That is one pretty bow and I would be proud to make one that nice. Mine broke :P

Congratulations on a very beautiful work of art and complicated bow to build.  For your first horn bow, you did awesome. We are often our own worst critics and always learn what we could do better on a bow. But as you have heard from some very experienced bowyers that is an accomplishment to be proud of.       Keenan

Beautiful work. I take it you meant the belly is bamboo? If you wished it was shorter couldn't you just draw it further if you feel it could be stressed more?

I said it before I saw the full draw and I'll say it again. That is a piece of art. Bending real nice also ;)

many hours , lost count, took 8 months. These arent the origanal siyas ,one of the first ones broke and nearly hit me in the head, so I soaked off the sinew from the tips and replaced them, its been a long term project!!!
