glad ya like em joe. even happier they arrived alive. wasnt sure they would make it past the postman and his fragile stamp. guy was trying to put the stamp on both sides of the box with one hit. 

Yeah ,the corner of the box was smashed in a little , but they are all in one piece and are now resting beautifully in my display case!

hmm... I haven't had a lot of time lately.

I got my gift a week or so ago, and it was a gorgeous handmade knife from Mike (EL Destructo) in a hand-tooled leather sheath.
Wow. It is made of damascus steel and it's got a buffalo horn handle. It's a beauty. Thanks a lot, Mike. It'll be put to good use.
Still makes me smile to think of it.

I'll try to get pictures up soon, the camera situation is interesting right now.

Here is my gift, made by Pat B. You can imagine how excited I was when I saw the return address on the box. Pat, sorry I havent gotten this posted yet, life has been crazy.

The leatherwork is superb, and it is sewn with real sinew. The antler closure is a nice touch, too. I plan to use this bag as a shooting bag for muzzleloading.

Thanks Keenan....I got this from a gentleman in Tennessee that Forges Damascus...it was an Ingot when I got it...I Took it to work and had it cut into 4 slices...so I have enough to make three more...now I just need to learn how to bring out the pattern better....I used Gun Bluing on this One...but I believe I am going to try Muriatic Acid on the next to see how it turns out....
