although i am hunting with an osage selfbow this year, i wouldn't hesetate to pick up one of my board bows to hunt with. One aspect of board bows that i really like is being able to try new (to me) or radical designs with out the prospect of wasting money on staves.

i love boards too.  although i work osage whenever i have it.  One of my favorites is an ash selfbow dyed grey with rit.  you may have seen it.  I am currently considering giving it to a wheelie bow shooter.  if your trying to convert someone you don't give him second best.  beside i can always and will make another.  this one has been hunting with me several time. although it has only harvest a few rabbits.
