great hunt rick did you let out the rebel yell? personally I got my first PA doe monday columbus day she had two little ones just out of spots watched them for 15 min. at first I wasnt going to shoot but after watching they were quite independent and browsing she left them and I could have dropped an acorn straight down under my stand and hit her not a good angle for the shot she walked off and presented me two more shots at her and I just had to take the shot. 70lb osage and obsidian tipped ramin complete pass though. ran 70 yards, and as I approached her her two little ones were still hanging around but bolted at the sound of me approaching. Did I feel bad? Not a bit, Me and my fanily will enjoy the harvest for a while. First deer in 5 years.

Congratulations, Rick! Those knotheads are some mighty fine eating, too. Looks like your knotheads up there are about the size of our grown does here.

Definitely ;D  There are a lot of compound hunters, but I'm just doing my own thing.  That is why I have to get off this island.
