Thank Ya'll ;D
Tim, I bought 3 pieces of that at a knapp-in. I gave about $4 a piece for it and destroyed one of them. For me, two out of three ain't bad! :D
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

Yeah, Shannon!  That's what I've been trying to do.  What I actually did is below.  Probably the last one for me for awhile.  I'm getting my eye worked on next week.  If I'm lucky I'll be okay again by the time the general deer season opens here in October.

Beautiful point, Jesse (not to mention the dagger!).  That kind of work, from you and most of the other posters, gives an old beginner like me a degree of proficiency to aim at.  Thank you all and keep posting!

I gave this point to Craig Ferrell this summer. Mighta posted it here before. It's Joe Stephen's Burlington, highridge subspecies. Good stuff. PD

Better late than never? ;D

Went to the bodark knappin today and made some nice points.Never broke a thing,(got lucky) andyhow picked up a piece of raw tough a$$ texas that just about beat me up. had a big ole stack in the mid section and the point was just  about a point. I live by no guts no glory when it comes to points,so I set her up a whacked it. The stack came off but you can see the trade off in the dip. My notches stalled out before I could get them deep enough,so I had to quit with it.
