Good for you, I just got my first osage log last weekend..... Im trying to will it dry with my mind right now. I want to hunt an osage bow for deer season soo bad!!

Looks good. l envy you guys that live in osage land. l once thought l lived in the land of osage....until l woke up at 5 a.m. from my alarm clock and realized it was just a dream :'(   ;D

thats what i thought. man i would like to see that varmit's skin when you get it dryed out. we got alot more of them that we do rattlers or copperheads down here. i actually have one about 4 foot long in the freezer.

Nice haul, Knap. Get those logs split at least in half so the moisture has a place to escape. After a month take the bigger ones down to staves. You can quick dry osage but in my experience you get a better bow by giving it at least a year to dry in stave form.

well i got HER  skint outnd drying. i'l post a pic of her recurve later.  oh, i call her, her because she was full of eggs!!  thats why shes so fat.  pat, i'll get these split here today and stored. i have a sleaugh  all ready from last year down stairs.

nice logs as soon as i have my knee surgery and get around thats what i gota go do, iam working on my second wood now, its ok but not my best. and it is running low i have no exuse, lasy cause i can cut osage all day every day and not get it all cut in 10 years.
a drawn bow is a stick 9/10 broken

my friend you had one goofed up snake. them snake eggs look some kinda wierd dont they? a little copperhead i killed earlyer n the summer was full of em.

i want some logs like that too...i wonder if i drive to the states, fill the truck, and drive back, will the customs guy let me in with it?
