Llooks like this is moving forward :)

Had to come in from camping as the mother-in-law was admitted to the hospital last night
with chest pains, the wife had to come in and sign some papers then were back to camp.

Got the stave Dana, What do we want to make out of it,length ,type bow,draw,weight.and what kind of wood did you say it was.It is a very clean stave ,need a lot of straightening but other than that it looks good.How old is it ? I should get something done to it in a few days. Another question,How much do yall want me to do to it and where dose it go next ? GregB will do the tip overlays if that's ok. :)

I finished the four arrows that I made from jap arrow bamboo shafts that Tom gave me. They have glue on nocks, three feather fletch of goose/wild turkey, polyurethane finish and I stained them with poke berrys. They are all between 520-540 grains.



Here are the stone points that everyone sent. I'll put these on sourwood shoots with self nocks, eastern two feather fletch, stain them with red clay and rub in deer fat for the finish. The top two points here are from Shannon, the third down from Dana and the bottom one from Wade.

The stave is straightened ,I will start floor tillering it this week I hope. Greg put it on the form Sat.It turned out nice.Very light feeling,I have never worked with Mullberry so some hints might help from
some one that has. :)  Before and after  :)
