OK. I took suggestions and ideas form several of you and made my antler tipped ishi stick. I didn't have any bamboo, but I do have trees and limbs. So took an oak branch, trimmed it down, put a hole an slot in one end for an antler tip and put #4 copper wire points in the other end. I just did a simple deer leather wrap around the antler and the cooper held in with standard set screw. I gave it a try and it works. And antler definitly feels different than copper! (I put the hammer in the picture as a size reference. It is just a standard hammer).

A big thank you to all who shared great ideas and suggestions.

well, I posted this but I guess the picture was to big. Once I figure out how to reduce the size, I will post it.

Hopegfully this works and here it is. Thanks Billy for the Pixresizer suggestion.

That will do the trick. Nice job
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!
