snake bow

it is done i try to post pics of her. it is 541/2 long 52# @26" draw rawhide backed with timber rattlers over it. i stained the osage dark brown the strike plate and arrow rest is old zebra skin. tiller is not the best but it was a challenge on this snakey thing but it shoots good.
a drawn bow is a stick 9/10 broken

Looks good Tim. There does seem to be a little kink in the bottom limb but that could be an optical illusion.  Them snakes are tricky to tiller.  ;)

Nice bow, tim.   leave that out in the grass and somebody might shoot it.  Heck, I would......snake shot in the .22.

Really hard to tell; kept looking at it for a while, I think it's the wood.

Very nice bow! Those timber rattlers look great!



PS: Do you happen to still have the neck of that old Zebra skin that I could trade you something for???

That is definitely a snakey piece of osage, looks like you did a good job on it. I like those timber rattler skins, my personal favorite of the rattlers.  :)

Looks like you did good to me :) Tiller looks pretty good and time will tell if has any problems

i only got a small piece of zebra skin left. sorry. and i drink all beer just it was what i picked up that day. and its cheap, my brand. i didnt even notice the beer in the pic. oops.
