i've been lurking here off & on for 8hrs & 2 minutes according to my log, but never posted anything- sorry, didn't feel worthy. i regularly drool over the BOM's, but they make me shy.

Kegan got me started making my own last summer, & I've come to LOVE making bows!

here's a sweet "Beast" of a bow i finished this week. 70" ntn hickory backed ipe with rounded belly & elk overlays. she pulls 70# @ 30", but i've been shooting her for the last week thinking she was 60# or so- i guess that means that she's smooth since i didn't think i could shoot a 70# bow, but i digress.

lol- i was just sippin coffee on the back porch watching an elk herd before i fired up the 'puter! those cows are getting pretty thick in the belly- calving any day, now.
