Very nice job, congrats on your first, and with Osage too. Can't wait to see more. As for 35#, first it's legal hunting weight, and second a lighter weight can help with shooting form pratice.

You should definitely be proud of that one for a first attempt. Looks like the bottom limb is bending a little more then the top...if you wanted to take some of the advice given to increase the weight, you could cut about 1-1/2" off that bottom limb which would stiffen it up some and add several pounds to the draw. Please don't consider this criticism at all...great first bow!

Great job. My first can only shoot an arrow 20 yards by aiming at the sky
