Well, I am not finished with my IPE/Boo bow but already thinking about my next project.  I want to try URAC. 

The claim is it doesn't require a heat box.  But my question is, does it do better if cured at 100F or even higher?  Or just setup faster?  And if you glue one up at 75F, can it delaminate on a high temp day like smooth on?

I have been using TBII and TBIII.   Can't say I have had a problem.  But getting my gaps perfect can be tough.

URAC does not require heat to setup, it just makes things faster.

URAC is more heat resistant than epoxy, but it will fail eventually if you get it hot enough.

So what your saying, is no 3d shooting during a forestfire   but nothing wrong with curing at 80F and shooting on a 100F day.

No glueing should be done, under 65 degrees.Not sure about how much heat it will take.But I have a friend that has been useing it for several years now and has glued up alot of bows with it. He tells me that it will stand alot of heat,ie.( heating corections to limbs).Never had a failure yet.

Be sure to store the resin part in the fridge. It will last longer.

it doesn't need heat but it will be a stronger bond if heat cured.  summer is coming, i used to put bows in my attic to heat cure them or in your car on a sunny day.   simple hot box can be made for about $20.  one 4x8 isulation board, two drop lamps with 100w bulbs and some duct tape.  thats really all you need.

If you are getting warm dry days like we have lately, wrapping your laminated bow in inner tube bands and setting it out in the sun will give you all the heat you need.

Urac works just fine at room temp. No heat needed.

I hear of folks curing in thier car on a nice July sunny day.  I bet that would work nicely.  Not sure if the stuff has a smell you don't want in your car.

Not much smell as I remember. Urac is a urea glue and not made with strong smelling chemicals.
