boo-yew-buff bow
« on: March 21, 2009, 11:14:37 am »
Hi all,

May I introduce my latest bow. After having started about 8 months ago (ok, the bow spent the longest time in a corner ::) ) this ist the result of the work:

at bracehight

full draw (upper limb left)

Length 68" weight approx. 65#@26".

Core wood is yew, backing is bamboo and the belly has a buffalo horn facing. Handle is cocobolo.

Sorry for the bad pix, ill try to take some better ones tomorrow.

What bad pix?  These are great pictures featuring a great bow. A serious contender for March Laminate Bow of the Month.

Pretty bow. The tips are a bit whippy tillered, but maybe thats what you where shooting for?  :)

Actually the tiller looks exactly like I wanted it to look like.
All my bows seem to be on the whip-tiller side somehow. But I like it that way.
