Man, that's wicked and demented! I love it-now that's CHARACTER! How about some braced and full draw pics? Oh-welcome to PA. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

That's crazy! here I am trying to keep my bows straight as an arrow - adds a whole new demension to (follow the grain) I'm starting to understand that doesn't mean just the back. Would like to see a braced and full draw.

The bow was a challenge from a friend. He gave me the wood because he was going to throw it away. He dared me to make a bow from it so I did. It took about three months of slow scrapin. It's cast is not that good and it's a bit wip ended but I'm just extremely pleased that it even shoots. I've shot it about 1000 times. Hey George. I remember you from years ago. Do you own this site now :D JK! I'll try to post some pics of it braced and at full draw.

Anyone who claims they can't find wood to make a bow from needs to look at what you created, most people would probably have tossed that piece of wood, but you took it and took the challenge. Perfect wood sure makes things easier, we should all try something like this maybe  just to hone our skills or pull us from our comfort zone. Quite an accomplishment.
