The glue I used is
Bindan Propellerleim, a german one. I think it corresponds to your Tidebond III.
The thickness of the backing is 15/64'' (6mm) over the whole length. This is one thing I would change, if I would repeat it - thinner hickorybacking (about 4mm).
Or a bamboobacking and a little perry-reflex, if your hunting after higher performance.
The thickness of the bow near the fades is 3/4'' (19mm) and 7/16'' (11mm) at the tips.
Me and two friends shot the bow several times during the final stage of the tillering, including cloud shooting - I guess it is shot about 300 times altogether.
The length of my arrows is about 31
1/2'' (80cm) (My personally draw-length is about 27'' but I prefer a little longer arrows. I have no special arrows for every bow, but several sets of arrows with different spine. And most of the time I uses bamboo-arrows. The spine isn't as importend as the weight if using bamboo.)
