I think you've done a super job for your first bow. Looks like you've dealt with a knot in the top limb. If that bow was mine, I'd probably get it bending a bit more right above that knot in the top limb, cuz it looks to me like the limb is hinging just a bit, right at the knot. The third pic at full draw really shows it... the top limb, right above the knot, is very stiff and not bending much at all.

thanks for the feedback.  I think the hinged appearance at the knot is an optical illusion because the line I drew on the side of the limb showed the area slightly stiffer than the rest of the limb, where as the rest of it had a nice curve, but I think you're right that the center of the working limb above the knot is a bit too stiff.  Does that sound right to you?  If you look at the pic on the chair you can see that the limb has a pretty good dip after the knot, creating that appearance.  Do you think it's good enough to last for many years, or should I get that center part bending a bit more?  I just want it to last

If it was my bow, I'd get it bending a bit more above that knot, and I'm sure the bow will last longer. That being said, it's an excellent first bow, and you should go and shoot the heck out of it!!
