Knife for a friend
« on: January 01, 2009, 10:42:13 pm »
I made this blade back when I first started trying to knap a few months ago.  My wife has threatened to throw it away a dozen times because it's been on the kitchen counter since I made it.   So I decided to haft a handle on it and give it to a friend.
The blade is from the bottom of a baking dish I bought at a yard sale.  When I told the woman I was gonna break it, she didn't want to sell it to me. ???
I sealed the wood and sinew with 2-ton epoxy.

Yes, it is a good book.  Not exactly "biblically correct", but very very good nonetheless.
