This is a narrow osage bow I donated last summer to the Powder Creek Shoot. I don't remember the weight but I believe it is about 35#@24"

Dismount ,here is one is about 7/8" wide,but it draws 50# @26".I'd hunt with it in a heartbeat.As to your ?,yea man,build that bow.Besides,you can tell your wife that little splinter wont hardly make any dust.Happy new year to you and yours,and God Bless

Yep, what everyone else said. No need for 68" long for a 40# bow cut that sucker down to at least 64" ntn
Its November, I'm gone hunt'in.......
Osage is still better.....

 I have a couple pieces of osage that are real skinny that I have been think about doing an ELB with, but since I haven't done any ELB's yet I was'nt sure what to do with them. After seeing the flatbow PatB did I am encouraged that at least one of these slivers will be a flatbow. Good thread.    Danny
