I wonder if Dean made it to Cloverdale.  I should email him, I haven't taken much abuse at work and he'd catch me up I'm sure.  Especially if he knew I hadn't been working on bows like I should.  On the other hand, Greeks like wine...

I got a promotion at the cement plant and its been taking a lot more of my time and energy than my last job.  Then they made my colleague retire and now I'm even busier.  Not complaining, its about time they got some work out of me.  I call it work but its not like cutting/splitting/processing hedge.

I haven't made any bows lately, but I did promise a couple of people that I'd knock something out for them.  I figure I'll fix up a couple of blanks to work on at MOJAM.

YOu coming to MOJAM Mims?  Pappy?

Well there ya are... Hey Lennie. Been wondering where ya'll had got off to. :)
I agree that the hatchet bow contest has run it's course but I hope some folks still try it now and then. It's a very good execise in "living history" and really gets you in touch with the past.

Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else at MOJAM.
