Cool, maybe I shouldn't have thrown out some of my hickory that has worm holes in it. I also didn't realize that ash stave had bug holes in it or I wouldn't have sent it to you. I'll send you another one that doesn't have a community living in it.

Didja complete the entire Environmental Assessment, the Environmental Impact Statement, and Potential Damage Mitigation Reports when you disrupted that microecosystem and evicted that entire colony of microfauna (i.e. the bugs) in order to build the bow?  What a shocking loss of habitat, shocking I say!  Speaking of which, any hand shock?

ya there is a little handshock, that i am not use to what is that from? steve there is no need to send another stave. your too generous. if anything it was a learning experience and i really like it with the holes in it. it makes me feel special    thanks again for the staves. how did that rock work for you. i know its tuff stuff.

Could be several things that cause the handshock, going to a heavier arrow is the quick and easy way to soak up all the extra energy the bow is shooting back up your arm.
