Wisconsin knapping rocks?
« on: September 11, 2008, 03:02:22 pm »
Hi all,
I have done some knapping off and on, but would like to actually find my own rock.  Are there any places in Wisconsin anyone knows of to find some?  Specifically near Steven's Point area?  It is mostly all granite or sandstone around here...

Contact a state geologist, if anyone knows they will.
