I am the guy Pat got the pictures from and just so it do not get mixed up, the black and white picture from the book with  Pat’s text is the original Holmegård bow. The colored pictures are the Hjarnø bow. Thanks for posting Pat.

Thanks for all the information on these bows-this is my favorite style of bow and the more information I learn them the more fascinating I find them.
