Spike down.

Had a good hunt Wed. Morning before my buddies showed up, Had a spike pass and 10/12 yards and I made a good shot on him, seen him make a big circle around my stand and then go down, love it when I see them fall. 109 lb field dressed , not a monster but all that know me knows I don't hunt horns, I am an opportunist hunter, horns are nice but I consider them just a bonus. My old osage bow/PO cedar arrows with 160 ace.

Congratulations Pappy. Watching them go down within sight is always a plus. In PA we have antler restrictions. I had 3 different (illegal) bucks within range last time out. Of course no does gave me a shot opportunity. They stayed in the thickets as to keep the bucks at a distance. I'll be back at it this afternoon.

Ya lucky here no antler restrictions, if it has 3 inches of horn it's a legal buck, if not it is considered antlerless and legal also. Pappy

Just the right distance there Pappy.Congrats.Nice seeing them go down.Good eating and nice hide too.Horn might be just right for another knife handle.May be too small though.
It's been tough sleddin here lately for shots but enjoying the rut show anyway.
My hunting area is only on 30 acres.
