I like cabbage and quite often plant it in my garden. Many years ago I bought a pack of seeds that had a bonus package of cabbage seeds in it, it was labelled Danish Cabbage. I don't remember using them before but this year I planted some, they are weird. They look more like Chinese cabbage. Not complaining cause I like Chinese cabbage as well

Yes there's a head in there, sort of shaped like a candle flame

I love cabbage to Marc. At our church dinner I always slice the coleslaw. I have to cut out the core. They don’t want it in the slaw. I gotta eat some of them. The core is my favorite part.

I like the core as well, minus the woody part. It's quite good raw

I googled cabbage and learned something. There is such a thing as pointed cabbage and that is what I have, looks exactly the same

I love cabbage and collard greens. This year I'm getting a hard lesson in gardening in South Carolina. Between the bugs and deer I have neither one this year.

I've had a bit of trouble with cabbage worms, I saw one of the moths flying around and didn't get to it before it lay a few eggs.
I won't be planting these pointed cabbage again though, apparently they are not as good a keeper as regular cabbage
