It's actually kind of a fun challenge, in a way.  The biggest frustration is that I can't sing or play WITH the kids, because all the interactive platforms (zoom, google hangouts, skype, etc.) have about a half second lag between my sound and theirs.  No big deal for talking, but for music?  Awful.  So, it's fun seeing the kids and singing a song for them, but I haven't found a way to do it where I can hear them, too.  But really, it gives them something to be happy about, so that's enough for now.  Changing expectations.

All that said, I can definitely identify with this gal's feelings.  ha ha ha
