Leif spring knife 1 of 2

Just finished up this knife from a piece of 1930's Ford leif spring.   It's 1/4" thick at the spine and weighs 12.75 oz.  She's dressed in stabilized spalted oak..though I find spalted oak doesn't have the character of other spalted woods.

Should be a heck of a rough use knife.  I made a tester out of this leif spring and batoned it through logs to make kindling all winter and the edge held up great.

Finishing the sister knife and will post it when completed.
