I have to say they look great, a rack of those hanging in the kitchen would look a picture.  8)
I got a fair bit of 3yr seasoned UK Hazel seeking a purpose, and this looks something I'd like to have a go at.  :)

RD, it is fun once you get started. Another hobby when I'm taking a break from bow building. But, I have finished building two bows, also.

We bought a camper van a couple of months ago and the plastic picnic stuff we had before is breaking. A set of spoons and bowls is on the wife's wish list!

They are real nice!  Like the branding iron!  Spoons is almost as addictive as bows :BB >:D!  Finished a couple of spoons and have the bow layed out.  Don't have a good work area, and have to check out my lumber for dry wood to make a bow bench; we got rain, snow, and nasty for a couple of days, then back to high lairs dry (R!  Not to mention sharpening knives, trying to figure out the tin tipi, getting everything else ready for hunting, and making a batch of chicken noodle soup tomorrow!

Dang it - I've always wanted to do some Spoons, this post has sent Me over the edge. Calling Crazy Crow later and ordering a Crooked Knife and going the store and grabbing a Drexel tool. Have ton's of Hard Maple & Mullberry in My yard to split Billets from. Looks like My Winter project is started   (=), Thanks Eddy  :OK - Bob.

Beautiful work Eddie.
How long does it take you to make one?
Can you post a pic of your knife.
