Adding a reel to a bow?
« on: September 30, 2017, 07:14:03 am »
I've been thinking about doing this for a while.  (SH))F((-S

I'm curious how others have gone about it. Anyone care to share? Pics would be especially cool.  8)

I put a reel on one but never took pics. I use a reel that screwed into a stabilizer insert. I bent a piece of soft aluminum that allowed a bolt to be fastened in the center while the aluminum lay flush. I fasten the aluminum with the bolt to the bottom handle by wrapping with serving, about 2" above and below. I coated the serving with ca glue. It held solid and wasn't too hard to remove later. Other then the store bought reel it looked nice.
