Anyone ever use or have any experience with a mimosa tree for bow wood?

Never tried mimosa. It seems to light but I really don't know.

Tried it years ago, it was too light and splintered easily. I wouldn't class it as a bow wood.

I made a mini bow out of what I ASSUME was mimosa. I found a shortish piece in a burn pile that split into 4 perfect pieces. It made a cool little ELB. I'll have to get a picture. The wood was yellow and incredibly fragrant.
But splintery is pretty accurate though I'm sure if an had a larger piece I would try it.
Best Regards,
