I have a ton of quarter sawn white oak and was wondering if I could use white oak for all 3 laminates for a reflex deflex  tri-lam bow?

But only if you post lots of pics...

You can,,,I made a few white oak board bows,,,what I did was run the board through the planer, then I ripped an1/8" strip off of the board,,,,I then flipped the backing strip end over end and glued it back down then shaped the bow out on the band saw as usual ,,worked good ,,,I love white oak! ,,,,,I realize you are making a tri ,,,but your choice of wood imho is exellent combo !,jeffw

Thanks for the response guys. I want to build a 70" tri-lam reflex deflex with a 60lb draw.No glass. What should my laminate stack be to achieve this. Dimensions? I'm planning on a hill style riser handle as well. Do I need to taper my laminates or can they be parallel? Thanks for any help. Just trying to get in the game!
