My first serrated point...

...that I've found. I couldn't make a point to save my life :K I picked this one up in a dry creek bed on our property this morning. I was pretty excited. I've found maybe 5 or 6 points over the years. None of them have had the serrations like this one does. The stone is white with some pink. I wish it was a full point. Some of the points we find are pretty crudely made. This one looks like is was made by somebody who know what they were doing.
I also found this piece of pottery in the same creek not to far away. I don't know how old it is. It looks hand made to me. There wasn't any other debris or garbage around.
It has some different colors in it.

Osage, the color on the serrated point looks like patina to me. I have seen points that were found in MO that had the same coloring. Nice find any way it goes.

The picture doesn't show the pink color very well.

That's cool, Clint. Bet that was a nice point. Must be fun to find things like that right around your house.

The partial point should clock in around 10,000
years ago. Looks like the mid section of a Dalton.
The shard looks like it came from a rim.
Very nice finds . Your creek site spans at least
6,500 years if the pottery is abo
