Novaculite friley

Made this little feller from a novaculite flake.
I've found more of these than any other kind of point.

I dont know if it is the color or shape, maybe both but it reminds me of a shrimp or some sea creature...very cool point!

Friley points are very common along the Neches and Sabine river drainages in SE Texas

and to think, the swacker mechanical broadheads think they created something special, i wonder where they came up with the profile?

Hawkdancer, Smaller points are easier in a lot of ways.
They can be hard to hold steady but it takes less pressure and a shorter flake to reach center and a lot less flakes down each side.
They can be made from small rocks or flakes to which are easier to get.
