Never hit the bar scene much, even back in my younger single days. About the only time now is when I am on a hunting road trip and there is no other place to eat.
In Michigan we a very fortunate to have a no smoking in a public building law in place which means you can go to a bar and eat without getting second hand smoke lung cancer.
