Osage tooth extraction
« on: September 17, 2016, 11:35:59 am »
This is my "bad to the bone" grandaughter ,Blissy, age 5. The pics show her coming to full draw with the little osage bow I built her before she was born.Look closely and you can see a string tied from her cane arrow to her tooth. She "shot" her first  tooth out with her bow and arrow!  The evening she did it,(right before dark), the tooth was lost even with all the precautions they were taking. They looked for it for 2 hours before she had to go to bed, being a school night. After a pretty well sleepless night for my daughter, she went out the next morning ,(with her fantastic eyes), and quickly found it. They had to have it for the tooth fairy you know. I think it's an incredible show of grit, and I'm very proud of her.  I just wish I had a loose tooth so I could do it too.   God Bless

Neat story and that's a great looking bow that you made for her.
