Moderator Appreciation Day
« on: August 30, 2015, 05:42:30 pm »
PatB is looking for a few slabs to get back into flint knapping. Hows about a few guys sending him some slabs as a thank you for putting up with some B.S. on occasion and more important donating his time to keep this site running smooth. AND no trades, let him keep his saw.

I am sending some out in the AM.

Good idea JEB
I will send him some.
Most of what I have is pretty tough stuff but I think I could round up a few pieces that would be good for learning.

I've seen Pat's knapping, might be a waste of good rock.

Pat, I have no worthy rock but if I did I'd send you some. Unless you can use Loup River rock we're SOL.

I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

I'll dig some rock out for Pat, I've got some georgetown and obsidion, maybe some blue glass slabs Pat can keep ahold of that wyoming saw
