Hollow in limb

Hi All,
How do I deal with a dip in the back of a limb, and is it better to have it in the upper or lower limb? The hollow runs 1/3 the length of the bow starting a few inches from a tip, extending from the centre line to the edge. Will post pictures later

 Upper limb and it probably doesn't require any special treatment.

Usually when the back dips the belly should mirror what the back does. If it is shallow, it may not matter. Photos would help. Jawge

I usually go for fairly flat belled bows but if the limb is hollowed I go with a more rounded belly to keep the limb thickness in that area.

OK so here's a pic of the hollow, bow will hopefully be compass bend long bow, oval or D cross-section



as noted at the beginning, the dip doesn't extend the full width of the limb, only to the centre-line.
