Thanks for the nice comments guys. Yeah I was very surprised at how well tempering over charcoal worked. Burnt it in a few spots but it was dark outside and I was sucking them down

Man Paul, you keep building the neatest bows. I'm a sucker for the finishes with natural stains and/or earth pigments. Really pulls the whole primitive thing together. I love the knuckles and warts on the back of the bow. They remind me of a biker chick I knew 25 years ago.
