toggle clamp as handle hold down
« on: April 06, 2015, 06:39:17 am »
Saw this use for a push-type toggle clamp.  Used to hold bow's handle when on tillering tree.  Shaped handle might be an issue.
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

That looks more secure than the bar clamp I use. Great idea.
Once the bow is braced a clamp isn't needed and I don't use one then but before that , sometimes it is necessary.
