Thanks James. I am going by the repeated references that the bow for war was not the horn bow because of the finicky nature.
I was thinking those bows have certainly closed up since being out of use but just getting a piece of wood to curl up like that is quite an achievement.
Have you ever tried to start off with that shape? How did your efforts shoot?
