Tiller Check (Osage that lifted splinter)

Guys, this is the stave I posted a few days ago that lifted the splinter. I reduced the width to remove the splinter and have been tillering it. I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice on it. Thanks.

left limb looking good,, the right could use a little work  mid limb,, its hard to tell without the unbraced profile,, seems like it is bending a bit much right out of the fade area,, I woudnt take off wood there until you get the right limb bending a bit more even,, looking good,,

Ya unbraced profile is important for tiller checks.
assuming both limbs have the same side profile, id agree with
the other dudes and say mid limb on the right needs some scrapes.
and ya stay away from the fades. You don't want any set out of your fades.
whats your target weight and draw and where are you at? Overall it looks like your coming along good

Here's the unbraced pic. The lump on the right limb mid limb is a pin knot that I left a little extra meat around.
 


I'm shooting for 50-55# @ 28" right now its pulling 50 @ 26.

If that knot spot is where your a little stiff, I'd say your darn close.
I would ditch the tiller tree and start pulling in your hand.
Mark an arrow with tape at 26" and get someone to take some photos
with the camera around chest height. See how she looks and get your
last 2 inches.

Or is your drawn bow pic reversed from your unstrung pic? Now that I look again it looks like that knot is on the left limb in the braces and drawn photos

The limbs aren't flipped, the left limb has a small bump in the same area. Thanks for the advice guys. I'll work the last 2" as you said WG.

Those overlays look kinda sketchy to me. It seems like a lot of dead weight and it looks like the groove is extended farther than the staves end.

Now that you mention the overlays I see.

If the string pivots too far it maky fold that overlay backwards, which could very well hurt like a mother... I'd sand em down and lose some weight and make the groove a little more over the belly wood. IMO. Looks great though. If u want that profile flip the tips on the next.
