« on: September 04, 2014, 06:24:19 pm »
Had this nice pc of ridge material an  tried for a dovetail, ended up breaking one side of tail so made a save dove style, Haven't  hit  any obshitian in a long time and had a hard time throttling down, ended up breaking a couple o f times but eventually ended with an nice thin one. Thanks for looking Bob

Don't know what's prettier, the flaking or the material.  Nice ones!

Bob I see improvement with every batch you make, keep getting better and better :).

Thanks Paul, Improvements at this stage seem to me to come awfully slowly, need to pay more attention to isolated platforms preparations. Got to sit with Curtis and watch some credit card thin points that he was still thinning with strategic percussion, I can only watch in awe. Thanks again Paul.

I could have sworn I replied to this thread.
Maybe I just saw that cool Dovetail somewhere before.
The obsissyian ain't to shabby either.
Sitting with Curtiis a great experience.
I have been that fortunate myself.
