OK then, sago palm and pasta should be similar.
There were elephants, lions, tigers and almost every type of bovine on the planet. Reptiles like crocs etc..
All gobbled up prior to the necessity of super rice, pigs/ducks and bugs.
Look at all the oldest images of fat old Buddha like folks in China.
Population drives it all imo.
The greatest thing for good health that helped humanity, was sanitary living conditions and clean water.

Heartproblems exist everywhere, bad food (or to much food) combined with stillsitting jobs just makes the statistics skyrocket!
To say that primitive people dont have any because they eat good things and are active is wrong, they just minimizes the risk.

A couple of years ago a guy at work collapsed...32 years old,non-smoker,non-drinker and active long distance runner died of a massive heart attack that day...
Makes you wonder dont it?
It's better to ask and look like a fool than not to ask and remain one...
