It's a very nice first bow, certainly tiller is not perfect, but leave it alone and build your next one. Yes, do a stave, that will be a great learning process.
You may want to post pics of the tillering process, and the guys here will lead you through it!

No need for anyone to get testy  . I know it isn't perfect, and I didn't take it as a jab at me. Thanks for all the reviews. Good bad or indifferent. They all help. It is shooting well. I reserved the string with some serving material last night. More shots to come.
