Bow scale recommendation

So fr I've been able to make it without having a scale of my own, but I think that time has passed. What is a pretty good scale that isn't over the top expensive? I'd like one with a 100 lb. max or more

The digital from 3 Rivers is pretty god and about $50. I have a spring scale that is off by 5# to 10# that I would trade cheap. It worked for me for years and now I can pull bows a lot stronger than I though I could.  ;D

Hard to beat a digital if you want to know where your at within a pound.

I totally agree. But be sure its the exact same thing. I bought a few at $5 on Amazon that looked the same, they aren't. They go up to 80#, and that's cool. But they don't have other handy features the X-spot has.

I use the Hanson Hand Held Bow Scale which I attach to the pull rope when bowyering. With it, I don't need to take my eyes off the stave as the weight registers.

It is available from 3 Rivers.

The X-spot also registers the highest pull weight, so when you let down that number is left displayed on the screen..  Nice scale, I use mine all the time.
