Carrara glass blade

Needed a little change up :o I got a pc of carrara glass from Hickory Bill so I cut a pc off an came up with this nice 4"+ knife blade, managed to get a corner notch also out of a scrap pc of Georgetown. thanks for lookin, Bob

That's a good one. What is Carrara glass. I think I have some that look's just like that.

Eddie, Carrara glass was used on old store fronts or old time ice cream parlors. The old white glass counters where you could get a real cherry coke, Your probably to young to remeber them. It is just glass tile, some has a rough back for the glue to adhere too. About 3/8" thick. I'll see if Hickory Bill will bring a few to the classic. Sure as heck is better to knap than some old toilet tank >:( I hate thunder chert.   :D Bob

Here is some tile porcelain from the Trade Towers in lower Manhattan.
Dredged up and transported to NJ for fill.
About 3/4 inch stuff.
