Sorry to bother you all again with hardwood questions... ::)
There is a local hardwood supplier that has a lot of yellow balau.
I'm going there to pick up a load of black walnut and ipe anyway but......
Have any of you used it?
I was wondering if it was a good belly wood???????

The wood is better known as bankirai.
It's pretty course grained and appeared somewhat brittle when I felt boards of the species. I think there's many better woods around, so why bother?
