That is pretty bad, I wouldn't trust it and suspect it will delaminate even with glue in the crack.
I made an errant cut with my band saw on a really fine osage stave a while back, put the stave back for years then decided to fix it.
I only had 1/2" thickness of handle area to work with so I glued on 1/8" strips to start. Once I got the handle up to about 3/4" in thickness I glued on a thicker piece to complete the new handle depth. I used Urac for glue.
You have to feather these strips into the limbs to keep them from popping off.
I made this bow in 2008, it is still shooting with no handle problems.
