Glad to hear the lad is doing better.
My wife had a ruptured appendix when she was 4 1/2 years old and that was back in the ice age.  ::)

Well Pat that explains the COLD spell that passed through your area! ;)

Glad that he is no longer encumbered with the tubes, and such.  Glad he is eating.  I hope the blood work comes back better.

Thank You Fellas...

I hear Ya Joshua...
Maybe we could gather em up at the Classic one day...   O:)

Well we are gonna be in the Hospital till Sunday at the least.
Elyas began running a mild fever (100.7) last night and his White Count is still a bit high.
Too early to call it a set back.

The Doc did say that Elyas's appendicitis was a pretty Rough case.

I told the Doc we'll do what is needed to get the Lad Right.
We're in the right place, doing the right things.
This is the wrong time for impatience.

We should know more tomorrow.

Got an Update...

It's been an Up and Down then Up AGAIN week.

As recent as Yesterday Elyas had been trending down.
Still not eating, High White Count, Fever...
So Docs ran a CT Scan on his abdominal area.
The Scan came back Clean everything looking good over all.

And Then!
Elyas' Fever Broke last night about an hour after the CT Scan(8:00pm).
And he started eating and drinking again.
Last Night's Bloodwork came back Good, White Count had dropped from 19,000 to 7000 from the day before.
And The Lad is Up and About...
Back to my little "Doctor NO" that he hasn't been since this  whole trial began...

Looks like he is Over The Hump for real this time.
The Docs say that we may be able to take him home this afternoon!
Thank The Maker.

Whew Who!!!
