Great find! Around here, you could make some great trades with Navajos and Hopis for those feathers. Probably get some outstanding turquoise and silver jewelry for them.

They lack the black subterminal band and the white terminal band of a redtail tailfeathers, but now that you mention it...

so i go to the post office to check and see if i have any Christmas goodies,,and im also expecting a package from primitivetim,,,no Christmas goodies but tims parcel arrived ( just as good....maybe?)  anyway im working and in texas its warm midday's this week..so i get in the truck and there is this faint hint of death in the truck,,now i was warned by tim this might happen.....so i take the package home open it up and ...whew!! i was correct ,,tim was correct the breast feathers were um smelly...now the gesture was incredible ,sending those beautiful pacock beast feathers..but for the love of God,,,pull the feathers from the skin!!!   half expected the F.B.I.  to come to my house lookin for body parts...lmao....really  Primitive tim is extremely...well...primitive.  (he was warned i was posting thisas a lesson to anyother feather senders to anyone else,, please make every effort to pull feathers from the skin new guys..otherwise ya could become....newsworthy)   Goodday!!  and thanks for the feathers Tim!
