Looking for Good Ipe.
« on: January 28, 2014, 04:28:34 pm »
I am looking to get my hands on a couple of nice bow quality pieces of Ipe. The place I purchased the stuff I used last time doesn't order it on a regular basis and are pretty much out of stock. I don't really want to wait on a "we might get some more in this spring", and I have been unable to find anywhere else that is not 5-6 hours away. I am also very hesitant to purchase some from an on-line retailer sight unseen.  I was hoping to find someone on here who has a source near them, or has a couple quality bow sized pieces they would be willing to trade me for.

Especially the guys who have worked with it before, I would be much more comfortable trading for a piece from someone who knows what I need. I don't have a ton to trade, but I do have a few things; various chunks of exotic woods, 306 Stainless Steel trade blanks, hard working children, LOL.

PM me if you can help me out, and we'll work out a nice arrangement. Thanks!

Joshua

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

LOL, the two oldest are 6 and 7. Can't buck hay or anything yet, but they can rake leaves, vacuum, and wash dishes pretty good. :)
